Zildjian 22" K Custom Dry Complex Medium Thin I - "Bill Stewart Ride" - 2292g - USED

This is a first version of the coveted cymbal line released in 2004 that is no longer in production. This particular cymbal dates to 2005. The line was famously designed in collaboration with Bill Stewart, in an effort to achieve his ideal cymbal sound. In Bill's words: "I've tried to get a clear sound, but also with some resonance, in terms of the drums and cymbals; I want them to sound rich enough also. Otherwise, someone could get a very dry ride sound and it may be clear, but might not sound pleasant." (from Bill's interview with Jeff Potter, on billstewartmusic.com). The popularity of the cymbal line reflects how wonderfully Bill Stewart and Paul Francis nailed this vision. Very dry and clear, but with a beautiful, complex resonance. This exact cymbal has three rivet holes drilled equidistantly around the weighs in at 2292g.
