Social Media & Content Specialist - Part Time Position

Twin Town Guitars believes there is a musician inside everyone, and we know with good service and cool gear we can help that inner musician shine. We are looking for a creative and organized individual, who knows and appreciates music and instruments, to help us connect with practiced and new musicians through social media. As our Social Media and Content Specialist, you will create consistent, meaningful content on social media platforms as well as respond quickly and professionally to resolve any customer concerns or criticisms posted on social media. You will also interact with and grow our virtual community through customer care and promotion of all the cool gear that comes through our doors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate, edit, format, publish, and share engaging content daily (original text, images, and video) for social media pages, profiles, and blogs

  • Maintain a posting calendar

  • Develop, track and translate analytics reports to gain insight on effectiveness and utilize this information to shape future campaigns

  • Assist with negative review response

  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company messaging, coordinate promotions, and grow community connections

Requirements & Qualifications

  • College degree preferred in marketing, communication or related field

  • Passion for music and instruments

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media including the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Creative, flexible, and self-directed working style

  • Ability to identify content opportunities

  • Experience with Shopify marketing and analytics
