This Yamaha Recording Custom dates back to late '80, early '81, and is in excellent condition. It has been professionally re-wrapped in a beautiful Sky Blue Pearl. The re-wrap job is pristine, with no bubbling or seam-lift. The kick drum originally had a tom mount in it, but was essentially converted to a virgin kick drum when re-wrapped. You can see that the shell still has the original hole in it under the wrap when you look from the inside.

The all-birch shells sound simply incredible, there's a reason it is one of the most recorded kits in history. (Yamaha claims it is THE most recorded kit). Exact sizes on this kit are 10x8, 12x8, 14x12, and 22x16. The toms are all mounted, and the kits comes with 3 tom stands, one double and two singles. If you're keeping track, you'll only need one double and one single to set this kit up, so that second single mount is essentially for if you want to rock a 1-up, 1-down setup.

The kit is overall in excellent condition. Bearing edges are essentially flawless, wrap is in incredible shape, hardware looks fantastic. The coated emperors batters are worn, but have life left in them, and the resonant heads are in great shape.
