The B6 is a longer version of a B3 and commonly used with larger archtops including Gretsch 6120 models. The Gretsch branded B6 is featured on many Pro Series Gretsch guitars. The "string-thru" B6 is a pinless design that makes string changes a breeze because it eliminates the need to insert the ball-end of the string through the post on the string bar. The lack of a tension bar creates a shallower break angle over the bridge for a softer string feel.
