Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom '68 Pink Paisley Telecaster B-Bender Electric Guitar with Hardcase
SKU: 164661
We just voided the warranty on this Beautiful Pink Paisley Tele. Why would we do such a thing? Well, now this guitar is equipped with the legendary Glaser Bender! A small, shallow cavity is created under the neckplate for the plate-mounted mechanism. This does not affect the body strength or sound. The Bender Arm is free of screws and has no slack or wobble. The arm moves very smoothly and the destination pitch is fine-tuned with the thumbscrew shown. The integrated neckplate and mechanism create great stability. The built-in bearings provide the smoothest feel, all in a very lightweight unit.
About the Guitar:
"The '67 Summer of Love and Flower Power movement influenced mainstream fashions worldwide, and Fender was on board with its new Blue Flower and Paisley Telecasters. Oddly enough, the guitars became more popular with rockabilly and country western players (they were adopted most famously by Tele master James Burton) rather than the flower children that helped inspire them. These guitars have earned a special place in Fender history, and the Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom 1968 Paisley Tele model is a faithful recreations of those original instruments. This Pink Paisley finished Telecaster has a vintage compound radius fingerboard (7.25" to 9.5"), medium vintage frets and a nitrocellulose lacquer, with WLS undercoat, finish. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case and ashtray cover. What every Elvis tribute act needs to get the Vegas years right."
