Fender Custom Shop Dual-Mag II Stratocaster pickups produce well-balanced tone with shimmering, clear highs and rich lows courtesy of a mix of alnico magnets. Featuring unbeveled alnico 5 magnets from the low E through G and hand-beveled alnico 2 magnets for the B and high E. Additionally, each pickup is wrapped with copper shielding tape to reduce noise. Featuring a custom stagger with a "low G" magnet that provides a smooth transition from the wound to plain strings. The alnico 5 beneath the G makes that string sing just right and the alnico 2 B&E magnets are slightly taller than vintage spec to help create string-to-string balance.
