The Artisan Knotty Pine Tele Thinline features a combination of the finest hand-selected woods, custom components and master craftsmanship only found in the Fender Custom Shop. A chambered and roasted pine body and knotty pine top with f-hole deliver steadfast tone with enduring resonance, all with the exquisite look of brown-shell top binding and rope purfling. A roasted 2A birdseye maple neck with round-lam rosewood fingerboard features a ’60-style oval “C” back-shape, 9.5” fingerboard radius and 21 narrow tall frets. Hand-wound Loaded Nocaster pickups feature three-way switching and Fat ’50s Tele wiring, which creates stronger tone with a transparent bloom and minimizes treble loss that typically occurs when rolling back volume. Other features include a brown-shell Caballo Tono pickguard, ’58-’63 Tele bridge with compensated RSD saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and a wing string tree.
