There are three different versions of the Black Russian. The second version, or eight screw, has a perfect combination of parts and transistors that give it an amazing, gritty, fuzz tone with a nice open feel while still retaining the fullness of the Russian muffs. Using the same parts with this circuit gives it a thunderous sound with a fat and clear tone with the perfect amount of grit in the fuzz. All Stomp Under Foot pedals are made by hand and use only quality, through-hole components.
